Usage of 'all the way'

We have to speak English all the way in class.

Is the sentence fine to use? Thank you so much as usual and take good care.

"All the way" is more often used to talk about travelling: "He walked all the way up the mountain."

If you are talking about time in your sentence, I think this would be better: "We have to speak English for the whole class."
