Usage of adverb "alternatively"

Hi everybody!

I have to write a sentence where I explain that a given web page has two textual labels (say "First label" and "Second label") but it displays one of them at a time, swapping between them every time is loaded.
So for example the first time is loaded the page displays label "First label", the second time displays "Second label", the third time displays "First label" again and so on.

Is the following sentence correct?
"the page alternatively displays two labels, swapping between them each time it is loaded"

Thank you in advance!!

" This describes an alternating action. "Alternatively" means that you do one thing instead of another. There would be no repeating sequence involved.

  • " This describes an alternating action.
  • "Alternatively" means that you do one thing instead of another.
  • There would be no repeating sequence involved.
  • The rest of it makes sense.
  • Forgive me for mentioning the lack of a capital letter and period.

I'd suggest using "alternately." This describes an alternating action.

"Alternatively" means that you do one thing instead of another. There would be no repeating sequence involved.

The rest of it makes sense.
Forgive me for mentio
