Usage of According to

Hi teachers,

I have a question about the usage of 'according to'.

Is the following sentence correct?

According to the information, cables between the two machines have been pulled.

I appreciate your advice on it.

I understand the usage clearly now.

The situation you mentioned is close to my current situation.

However, I have a miner question.

The inform referred in above sentence is a log file and not certain if the cable is disconnected.

If there is an uncertainty, should I add a modal verb in the latte

I appreciate your advice.
Actually, I was checking technical information and was reporting a problem to a customer in onther country.
In fact, the problem was more complicated one.
So I needed to pay extra attention to my sentences.

I will avoid using a simple tense when making those kind of replies.
