Usage of a word

"sheaf of poems" . I want to know if one can use 'sheaf' for poems.

Top answer

A "sheaf" is a pile or bundle of things, especially paper. A "sheaf" of poems would be a stack of poems written on loose-leaf paper and bundled together in some fashion.
