In English, are the following questions possible?
1.What were seen in the Egyptian yearly calendar?
2.What does the earth do in the year?
Thank you in advance.

The second one probably should be "in a year / in one year". The meaning of "in" in the first sentence seems a bit vague to me. Otherwise, the questions are possible I suppose, but not necessarily desirable.
