Letter Writing

Urgent request of consideration

Dear Sir,
It would be really helpful for me if I can access your guidance for my letter of motivation for internship, as soon as possible because i am currently undergoing high pressure for my training stuff. My letter goes as :

***,
***

Tel: ***
Email: ***

Subject: Candidature for an internship and research

Dear Sir,
I, am presently pursuing second year of International Masters of ‘Material Science and Engineering, Option: Structural Materials’ in ***. With an aim of bridging my technical competency achieved through this course and my future industrial/research career, I am hereby writing in the interest of exploring the internship opportunities with your esteemed organization.
This is for your information, I obtained my Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the ***. During my graduation, I was being trained and exposed to the theoretical and practical aspects in the field of Metallurgy and Material Science. My final year project during my engineering has permitted me to work in an industrial environment and updated me with an aspect of responsibility; hereby promoting an internship in *** and helped me in broadening my practical knowledge in different processes of Physical Metallurgy(specially in the field of Steels).
Currently I am intensively trained to the depth in those areas of Material science which is the key to the fabrication and modelling of Materials. At present, I have completed my first year of Masters with an internship of three months (May-July2004) in *** and ***. The theoretical and the practical atmosphere at the labs during my internship led me to learn and explore the Numerical Stimulation and experimental field of Materials (specially TiAl(a2+?) Alloys),which not only helped me to achieve the targets of internship but also opened a pathway for the diverse and thorough knowledge of the behaviour and mechanisms of the materials.
With this background, I am passionately interested towards the field of research and development of the materials. Recently I had a chance to know about the project currently being investigated under your research programme and I am very much allured with the aspect of grooming myself towards a research oriented career. In this context I would like to express my interest in pursuing a research oriented internship under your guidance (duration - six months/1 year). Armed with my knowledge in the diverse field heat treatment and physical metallurgy of Metals specially Steels, Aluminium and Titanium, and experienced in the study of Numerical and Experimental Field of Ti-Al Alloys, I am looking forward to learn and explore research and gain knowledge to add value to myself and to your organization.
Thanking for your kind consideration,

Sincerly,
***

Here are some quick pointers for you. 1)Split the final section into a larger number of paragraphs. At the moment it is a very dense and slightly inaccessible piece of text.
