URGENT !! Native speaker, please help !

Please kindly help me to clarify the following? Many thanks !!

A: Please confirm the following bookings asap, because today is the deadline for issuing the tickets.

B: We will buy !!

Did B mean that A can issue the tickets for him right now?? or did he mean that he will buy some tickets by himself ?

I think he was giving permission to A for issuing the tickets, but still not sure, so pleas help.

Many thanks,

S.

No idea - it's a very odd answer to A. A asks about several bookings: 'following bookings' - yet B only talks of 'we' - B's own personal booking possibly? Or B might be bulk-buying tickets?

  • Or were there lots of other people there and A was asking them all as a group, and B was replying just on his own behalf, and the others haven't answered yet.
  • Really it's an odd answer even if those were what B wanted to communicate.
