Urgent Letter to Management (please help)
Hi English Guru, I would like to request for your help in editing my letter below as my english is pretty bad. Please help to fix my grammar error from the letter below.
Hi Desmond,
Thank you for spending so much of your time in considering my engagement with BAT.
I had a dispute with DomainTech yesterday regarding the amount of (RM 8,640) that was confirmed by Gaya earlier which was actually an incorrect calculated amount. After a further clarification between both parties (Gaya & DomainTech) on yesterday evening, they have finalized that the total compensation fee should be (RM 12,096). This amount is quite high according to my pay.
I think it is not a good idea to reattach with DomainTech as I have spoken with Gaya, she agreed with me that sooner or later we have to pay the placement fee even if I have the chance to be converted for a permanent position in BAT. Since this issue has been raised up, I would suggest we solve the compensation issue right away.
Here’s my solution. Please do consider and give me your opinion.
Let’s try to make it easy, I will settle whatever compensation may be with DomainTech with a condition which is to push my pay from 4.5 to 5.5. Once I enter I will make a move to Vincent’s team. Because according to Gaya, even I have a permanent position we still need to pay the placement fee.
Benefits of BAT
let’s say I reattach with DomainTech, DomainTech might increase their charges to BAT or DomainTech will still be charging the same amount which is RM6615 to BAT.
Let’s make a comparison to have a winning benefit for BAT. Assuming I’m charging BAT RM5500 and DomainTech is charging RM 6615; anyhow BAT will save RM 1115 per month.
From this point I can see a win situation for all 3 parties which are:
1. 1) BAT saves RM 1115 every month & resolves the compensation issue with DomainTech.
2. 2) DomainTech gets the full compensation from me & will definitely issue a release letter.
3. 3) And I can get what I wanted which is my professional career with BAT.
Will this will be a better idea to propose?
