Urgent!! job offer but I have to write a lesson plan

a lesson plan based on using the present perfect with 'for' and 'since' ............. as stated in request by the interviewer (in preparation for 2nd interview with lesson demonstration)

it has to be communicative and have a high amount of student talk time.

i thought of talking about myself, giving a profile i have been in bangkok for 2 months, i have lived in my new apartment since december etc

first i thought it would be a good idea to talk about time expressions used e.g. 2 months (duration) december (point in time)

then ask for more

then for a communicative activity give the ss some questions to ask that will give present prefect answers then get the students to talk about their findings in an open class dynamic.

BUT maybe this should come at the end?? im abit worried that i dont really know how to make the lesson as communicative as would be required.

i think that i should possible have a stage when i go through the time expressions and get the ss to say 'for' or 'since' for each one.

am i missing something obivioius?? ........... maybe a role play game??? i could make up some character profiles and hand them out?
