URGENT HELP

George W. Bush is the 43rd president of the United States. How can we ask question for the underlined ordinal number? Which in order? / After how many of? / How manyth?

Which "Question word" must we use?

How manyth president of the United States is George W. Bush?

I think this sentence is wrong.

What is George W. Bush in line of the United States Presidency?

Is this sentence true?

Thanks a lot for all of your answers.

My instinct would be "Which number president is GWB?"

Manyth isn't a word, unfortunately.

We would phrase it in an entirely different way, such as "how many presidents came before G. Bush?"

(You could say "how many presidents preceded G. Bush?" However, the two words beginning with "p" do not sound nice - it's called "alliteration" - and are best avoided).

Lil' Ruby RoseMy instinct would be "Which number president is GWB?"
I have actually heard this in a real conversation between native speakers, so I'm inclined to agree.
