Dear All,

Please help me Find the one word which best fit each space this paragraphs.

When Ann decided to(1) ................... house, it was mainly because she was tired of the neigbourhood she lived in. It was crowded, there was a shortage of packing places, and the (2)........... from her windowns was of distant factory chimneys.Luckily she arranged the sales of her houses very easily, and (3).............small loan from the bank, she was able to buy a house in the country. CFVG, you had a go, but sadly not too many are correct. I won't just supply the answers as that won't really help you learn but I will give you some clues.

1. incorrect verb tense.

2. you need a noun here

3. I can't think of anything to put here that should be followed by just 'small loan' instead of 'a small loan' . If this was a typo, then 'borrowed' is fine. Or 'took'

3 still not ok but I think this is a flawed question. Assume 'a small loan' follows the blank word.
