Please help me Find the one word which best fit each space this paragraphs.

When Ann decided to(1) ................... house, it was mainly because she was tired of the neigbourhood she lived in. CFVG, you had a go, but sadly not too many are correct. I won't just supply the answers as that won't really help you learn but I will give you some clues.

1. incorrect verb tense.

2. you need a noun here

3. I can't think of anything to put here that should be followed by just 'small loan' instead of 'a small loan' . If this was a typo, then 'borrowed' is fine. Or 'took' or 'arranged' are alternatives.

4. correct

5. Hard to know exactly what they want here. I can see why you chose repaired but you don't 'repair into X'. I think they want 'turned'. (OK I'll help you with this one as I think it is a tricky one).

6. become makes no sense here. What do you do when you move or indeed go anywhere? You go _ _ a place.

7. comfortable is an adjective yet there is no noun there for it to relate to. Incorrect.

8. I think they want the specific room name, not just 'room'. You don't stick a cooker (US American I believe is stove) just anywhere in the house, do you, it goes in the ?

9. I think if you find 8, you'll work out 9. See 4. It is not part of the room name.

10. Nothing is wrong at the moment (be). But something might go wrong in future...
