Uprightness

I doubt this is a word but how would you say this?

1 Are there levels of uprightness or is a chair either upright or not?

Are these possible ?
Can one say : The seat is too upright.
Or
The seat isn't upright enough.

Thank you

Upright means vertical. Or it can mean honest, which makes your statement a little strange. A chair seat is horizontal, so your statement is inapt.
