Uppercase or lowercase

hi there
Just working on my portfolio, and yes, it has to be in english. Now, there is just one sentence I'm not sure about.

It reads:
traditional European accommodation

A friend of mine had a quick look at it and said, european should be uppercase.

Well I don't agree, for me, european is adjective and describes the word accommodation.

Thanks for your help

Hi Jörg, The word European, whether it functions as adjective or noun, should always start with a capital letter. So your friend was right. Cheers, Orph
