Uploading and downloading is risky. Opinion essay :)
In today’s world more and more people use the Internet. Billions of the various files are uploaded and downloaded every day. Some people say that is hazardous and the others believe that it isn’t dangerous, at all. I am convinced that the World Wide Web is a risky tool.
First of all, the Internet isn’t a reliable source of information. There are a lot of mistakes made by authors, which are multiplied by the users all the time. As a result, there don’t exist any confident contents to download.
Secondly, on the Internet are lots of computer viruses. Every downloaded file can be infected by them. It is believed that an anti-virus software detect and delete viruses. However, some of them aren’t detected and then destroy the data.
Moreover, the files on the Internet have copyrights. Uploaded works can’t be downloaded and used in a private way. As a consequence, it is needed to be careful and comply the rules on the Internet.
One argument against the thesis that uploading and downloading is risky is that there are plenty correct information. The Internet is used by billions of people and they are satisfied with it, therefore it helps to find out lots of true subjects.
To sum up, uploading and downloading have some disadvantages. There are hundreds of false information and existing computer viruses. Additionally, the files have copyrights. In my point of view, despite having advantages the Internet a risky tool.
