Hello everyone,
I was in a visiting to y town and visited a research center there. The researcher that hosted me and gave me a tour is very generous and kind with me. I want to email him and know his good news. I always think to write to him to catch up and to keep social with him; I might apply in his school later after finishing my studying. I wrote the following draft and I need your opinions and corrections if needed. Can you please help me? and is the title:" update" good? what are your suggestions?
Dear Dr.XX,
I hope you are doing very well.
As it has been a year now since my visit to Y town, I’ve decided not to delay anymore .The thought of sending you emails is always in my head but I was overwhelmed in my M.S. studying.
Frankly speaking, those three weeks I have been at X school were wonderful days, especially at your class. Despite all the difficulty I have been through during and after that period, I remember it as a golden time. I can’t thank you enough Dr. XX.
Nowadays, I’m working very hard to finish up my degree.
How is it going with your research group?
I’ll be happy to hearing from you soon.
