It's correct except that you used the wrong character for the apostrophe (you actually used an acute accent). Also, if you want to set off a sentence like that in order to quote it or present it as an example, you should ideally use a dash, not a hyphen: – I´d like to attend your school in the upcoming school year. If you have to use a hyphen because of difficulty entering a proper dash, then at least put a space after it.
