Let me add your sentence (E) to my original sentences.

A. I can wait up to two days.
B. I can wait until two days.

Hi,

1. I can wait up to two days - OK.

2. I can wait until two days - OK.

3. I can wait up until two days - OK.

4. I can wait as long as two days - Incorrect.

Your first three sentences mean about the same thing. They mean you can wait up to two days—no later

than that.

Thank you, Regards. I now understand.

Is the phrase "as long as two days" always grammatically incorrect? Or is it unnatural?

If not, could you give an example sentence, please, and what does the phrase mean?

Also, can I say "I can wait two days"? Does it have the same meaning as the first three sentences?

I think 'as long as' is generally associated to the time-frame that is not fixed.

since 2 days IS a fixed duration, 'as long as' doesn't look right there.

so you can use 'as long as' ....

when you use some other 'condition' instead of a known duration.

here are some examples I can think of:
The teacher will be happy as long as you do your homework.

Thank you, kpa123, for your explanation.

If I understood you correctly, "as long as" is generally not used with a fixed duration. So do you think the following are not correct?

It may take as long as 2 days for the medicine to take effect.

The side effect can last for as long as 2 days.
