Grammar

Untill/up to

Can I use both in sentences like:

"I can stay there untill 28th February"
"I can stay there up to 28th February".

Thank you.

Top answer

until, not untill . Only one L . I would use, "I can stay there until February 28" or "I can stay there until the 28th of February".

  • until, not untill .
  • Only one L .
  • I would use, "I can stay there until February 28" or "I can stay there until the 28th of February".
  • "up to" is understandable, but less idiomatic in my opinion.
