Until

I had been working for 3 hours until he came.
I had worked for 3 hours until he came.
Are they right? And what's the difference between them?

As far as I concerned is that I think it's not correct to use "until"In past perfect progressive.Am I right?

No. "for three hours" is not compatible with an until clause. "show up" is a more idiomatic verb than "come" in this context.

I will work until he shows up. / I'll work until he shows up.
I worked until he showed up.

The following have 'when', not 'until'.

Right. The past perfect progressive is one of the least used tenses anyway, so it probably isn't used with a lot of different kinds of subordinate clauses.
