I wanted to say: ''I don't know how to forget about you.'' but I also saw in the dictionary that 'unthink' means 'to put out of mind.' So I thought that unthink and forget about someone might be used interchangeably.

Unthink is very rarely used in contemporary English. It thrives as a popular derived adjective unthinkable.

Fraze.it has only two examples:

Once the mind thinks some thoughts, it cannot unthink them.
