UNLIKE GRAMMAR

Hello,
I am confused on how to use unlike. At least in this sentence, "Unlike him who loves nature, his mother doesn't like going anywhere."
I am pretty confused, should i drop the word 'him' and change it to he? And why?

Best regards,
