...unless she was beautiful

"I wouldn't do this unless she was beautiful"

What does this sentence exactly mean? Would another way to phrase this be like this:

"I wouldn't do this if she wasn't beautiful" therefore he/she did it because she IS actually beautiful, right?

"Unless" seems to have many different meanings...
