"unless" imaginary form

Hi,

Do we have imaginary unless? Like if?
Would you please explain different forms those use "unless" as a conditional conjunction?
Please with challenging examples.

Thanks

Hi Yes, you can use "unless" in hypothetical and counter-factual sentences... - Unless my dad lends us his car, we'll have to walk - Unless you're Superman, you're not going to get there on time These are equivalent to "if" sentences... - If my dad won't lend us his car, we'll have to walk - If you're not Superman, you're not going to get there on time Dave

There, good examples. Thank you, however, I noticed you used wouldless phrases. Wouldn't we use "would" in unless conditional phrases?

Hi

It may just be the way I write - I probably tend to avoid the subjunctive, except in set phrases. You might want to ask others about the use of "would" and "were" with "unless"

It is good English, and I can imagine...

- She wouldn't do that unless she were foolish

But I would think and say that this is either counter-factual or hypothetical and, depending on
