UNless he mends or Won't mend

Hello teachers!
I 'd like you check out the following grammar quiz :

1)I'm not sure but I ... A) Will ...... be late for work tomorrow.

my answer is "B" what's yours?

2) Unless he ....A) Will mend .....,he'll end up in prison.
B) Mends
C) Doesn't mend
D)Won't mend

I agree with you, but 2 sounds like it should have been "mends his ways" not just "mends."

My bad!! I missed something while copying and paste.
The sentence was missing "his ways"
so : " Unless he mends his ways, he'll end up in prison."
