When uncle bob died, he had told his lawyer a riddle and that who ever could slove it got his possesions. The point was to find out what his safe's combination was, because inside was his will. 10It's quite hard. Humm, I think his job must be related to the answer. Everything in his house was made himself, and in his riddle, 'stand at the table', which was made by him. But why did he choose the table? And why did he name his cat Amy - his wife's name? Or the cat lived with him before he got married? Haha just joking! His cat Amy can't talk so if she knows the answer, you can't ask her. Also, his wife Amy died so she couldn't tell you the answer. You can't ask both of them. I haven't fogured it out, but here are things to think about:

If Amy already knew the answer wouldn't Amy get his possessions?

How does a cat know the answer to a riddle? Maybe the cat named Amy knew Uncle Bob's ex-wife Amy? Or vice versa? And the answer is "Amy" -- but I'm not sure how that transfer to the actual combination.

But if Uncle Bob made his things, then he invented his safe. Does the safe have to to be in numbers? Can it be in letters?

Maybe the safe was on a table? Or the safe counted as a table?

It said that Uncle Bob was an inventor and many things were home-made but it did not say that he actually invented those things.

Why is Amy his ex wife? Animosity can come from divorce. Perhaps Amy his ex-wife knew the answer because it was her safe but Uncle Bob didn't.

i think the answer is in the instructions..4 4 4 cuz there is four words in each phrase and 3 phrases..all the inventor stuff could be irrelevent.. left,right,left again could be a phrase
