Hello,

today i saw a movie in which i heard a dialogue

"you seem to have given this a fair bit of thought"

"A fair bit of thought" what does it means and how can i use it in general English conversation


Another one is

" As a matter of fact i did"


"As a matter of fact" i heard these words in another movie and i want to know what is the meaning of these words and how can i use them.
