Unknown Phrase?
I read this in Jeffrey Archer's novel "False Impression" and couldn't follow up. Please care to explain
Jack says:
'No. That was my adolescent period, since then I've entered my modern period, and only fall for women whose breasts end up behind their ears.'
I couldn't get the meaning of the last line.

maxspudI couldn't get the meaning of the last line.Me, neither. That's some pretty bad writing. Forget it. Far from being any sort of fixed expression, it is not understandable. If I had to guess, I'd guess that he failed to convey the idea that a woman could have that many facelifts.
