My group experiment and research assignment about how the magnetic field affects the growth of plants taught me a lot about myself and about people. The assignment helped me realize one of my passions, which is researching a topic and investigating it in depth. Although the process of researching about how the magnetic field affected plant growth posed a difficulty for us, as there were not much information about it, it personally made collecting the information more interesting, because it made the research seem like a puzzle. Another problem I faced other than the lack of information is working with a large group. The group was composed of five students, but in reality, it felt like two students. The remaining members dependent on us for finding the information, understanding the information, and explaining the information to them, which actually stirred emotions of agitation and anger in me and the other girl. The lack of group work from the three girls taught me that when it comes to group work you should not choose people because they are only you friends but because they are hard working, creative, and smart. This assignment taught me about the importance of working in a group, as you get to see the different point of views and ideas.
