Is it unnatural to describe a person as unique? If so, why?

I know the meaning of unique. Anyway, I took your advice thinking that someone already posted my question but I couldn't find it on the first two pages. My question is whether it's a weird adjective for describing humans which is different from the discussion of the meaning of unique and whether it's an absolute word.
