Union Jacked?

Team USA was defeated by team Korean in the World Baseball Classic. The news title says "Union Jacked: USA's Classic hopes in jeopardy".(http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp) Is "Union Jacked" a pun?
Does "union jacked" mean "the union is jacked around???" Thanks for answering in advance!!

The Union Jack is the name given to the British flag. Thus, the title is a pun, though it would make more sense if it referred to Britons rather than Americans. Perhaps there are British players in the American team or the championships were held in the UK.

I was surprised, though, to find that the Flag Institute and, apparently, various statutes, but not the RN accept the name "Union Jack" for non-jacked flags. (Who'da thunk..)
