Vocabulary

Unenthused and unenthusiastic

Hi

Would you say that these two words are essentially synonymous?

Unenthused
Unenthusiastic

She was totally unenthused/unenthusiastic about the offer made to her.

Thanks,

Tom

I am not a fan of "enthused" or "unenthused," but, yes, the words mean essentially the same. " Personally, I would skip all the "un" formations and simply say: She was not enthusiastic about the offer made to her.
