Hello,

Pressure exerted in any confined mass of fluid is transmitted undiminished in all directions.

Here the word in bold is an adjective or an adverb.

Would anyone here explain it?

Would anyone here explain it? Good question, hanuman. I would choose adjective, since to me it modifies 'pressure', not 'transmitted'.
