1. Use unwanted.

2. Use endure rather than stand.

End the sentences with full stops.

Use only one question mark.

Hi,

thanks for your reply but it would be highly appreciated if you could explain your corrections.

1.Why preferring "unwanted" ?

2. Why preferring "to endure" ?

What is the problem with 2 question marks?

Thanks!

'Unwanted gifts' and 'endure unwelcome visits' sound more natural to me.

Let's see if any other native speakers disagree.

A single question mark is standard in English punctuation.

Here's an interesting surprise for you. 'stand', when it means 'endure' or 'tolerate', is almost always used in the negative, almost always with 'can't' or 'couldn't'.

I can't stand the boredom. OK

He couldn't stand their visits. OK

He tries to stand their visits. NO!

They stood each other's company. NO!
