Vocabulary

undertaken

Hi!I‘m confused by a sentence. It's from Full Engagement!by Brian Tracy.

You only need three to five values around which you build your organization. The determination of these values may take several hours of discussion and debate and "may be undertaken during strategic planning meetings with large corporations." But in every case, at the end of the discussion, the entire executive group must be unanimous in their choice of values, and their order of priority.

Can you paraphrase it for me? Thank you.
