I really have issues understanding when to use a comma. In the above example, I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly or not.
"On the last slide, please fill out SPOC names to reach out to, for further investigation or discussion, and inviting them in our upcoming meetings"
For what I understand, in the example above, and in my writing now, I see the below explanation.
Phrase#1 "On the last slide": is an incomplete sentence, as it doesn't answer "what" is on that slide. So, it needs to be followed by a complete sentence, that makes full sense on its own.
Phrase#2 Please fill out SPOC names to reach out to: this expresses a full meaning, with a subject (Please, refers to you) and a verb (fill, the action).
Phrase#3 For further investigation or discussion: it is an incomplete sentence, as it doesn't answer "who" or "what", or expresses a complete thought.
So, phrase#2 connects, both phrase#1 & #3, and completes the meaning of them.
Phrase#4 "Inviting them in our upcoming meetings": Because I think this is a complete sentence, I've added "and" after the comma.
Is any of what I'm saying correct? or I absolutely understand nothing?
Thanks for your time to help out Regards
