Understanding sentences

Hi teachers, could you help me understanding sentences below, especially at phrase you will be...:
A said, "That's how your stories sound. As though you'd written them without knowing the end. Well, I'll tell you: you'd better make money. You have an expensive imagination."
B replied, "Sorry."
A said, "You will be if you hit me. You wanted to a minute ago: I could feel it in your hand; and you want to now."
What does A intend saying "you will be"? Does he/she want to say "you will be sorry if you hit me"?
