Underlined part - okay?

Hi!

Please take a look at the underlined parts. Are they okay?

In the submission, the applicant specifies that on August 25, 2004 the place of residence of Sofia and her family was inspected by a social affairs inspector who recognized that the apartment is beautifully furnished and there are home-made handicrafts there.
