Under US law

Is this correct and makes sense?
How would you say this?
As a photographer in the United States, make sure in your contract it states that the contract is valid only under US law so that if you have foreigners they can't take you to court abroad.

Thank you

Is it natural to say 'that a contract is only valid under a country's law like stated above or would rephrasing be necessary?

Thank you
