Uncovered by health insurance?

For example, Medicine A cannot be covered by your health insurance. Medicine A costs 1000 yen.

You want to say about this cost/charge:

Charge excluded from the range of your health insurance (-- 1000 yen)

I know this one doesn't sound right, and the original says like this way. Do you have a general term for that?
