Uncountable noun and reflexive pronoun

Hi there! I`ve just come across such a sample in the J.Scrivener`s "Learning teaching":
"I told her a few truthS about HERSELF."
Is it correct for the uncountable 'truth' to be plural and the reflexive pronoun to be used instead of personal "her"?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

I think the reflexive pronouns is okay here. The only place I remember hearing the plural form of truth is in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. I suppose it is still used.
