If the noun is an uncountable noun ending in s, how do we express its possessive?

THe Philippines's laws are

Do we add "s"?

If you had to write it like this, I mean (instead of the principles of economics).

economics's. But the more important point is that nobody has to write it like that, and you shouldn't write it like that. It seems you already know that 'principles of economics' is the proper term.
