uncomfortable

I felt uncomfortable driving a gas guzzling German vehicle around school, dodging cyclists left and right as If I were the only Axis power in a World World II film.

I asked to have it proofread on Friday, and still haven't received an answer. Please don't blame me for reposting. Thanks.

It's odd to compare yourself to an Axis power, because 'the Axis powers' were countries, not people . I don't understand why you say 'the only' .

  • I suppose that to many people today the term 'Axis powers' in reference to WWII is just a historical footnote.
  • But to some older people, the term 'Axis' still refers to forces who killed their father, or their uncle, or their sister.
