i love umberto eco too... i like "the name of the rose" and "baudolino".... and what about you???... i`m not a huge fan... but... i`m sure of one thing : he rules!!! n_n

I've read Eco's 'Foucault's Pendulum'. That is really hard to read, but very interesting.

He is surey one of the most important writer in Italy... and with "The name of the rose" his fame has spread all over the world. I've never read much of him...

My ex-husband named our dog after him - but we spelled it "Echo" because we knew people would misspell it otherwise.

He's read everything Eco has written, but I have only read The Name of the Rose. Good book!

I think Eco is one of the best modern authors! I read all his novels... in translations into Russian of curse. Highly recommend. It can be not easy reading in the beginning but it worth efforts! Later you will be able to read it again and again from almost every page

Foucault's Pendulum is fantastic. It's like The Da Vinci Code, but many times better.

I love Eco. I've read The Name of the Rose, Foucault's Pendulum, The Island of the Day Before, Baudolino.

I've read them in Italian. Can't imagine how difficult they must be in English, since Eco's language is extremely complex.

Nobody mentioned 'The Island of the Day Before.' Set in the 17th century, it's the story of a traveller. Fascinated by the search of the prime meridian

I read his books in italian (I'm Italian). Very nice is "La misteriosa fiamma della regina Loana" too.

I don't know what it is in English...

I like him a lot, how he explaned history in Bodigliani, mmm, was realy good!I've read about Rose and Fuco too. i read it in my language, if someone will translate other works, i will read them too!
