tyranny of the dock ?

Hello everyone~,

I came across a phrase of 'the tyranny of the dock'.

To be sorry, there's no context.

Is there anybody who knows what is the meaning of the phrase and what is the meaing of "dock" in the phrase?

All I can give you some hints is that it is related to a certain state of mind.

Thanks for all who would give some comments here~!

I would imagine it relates to a legal situation. In court the defendents sit in the 'dock'.

Unless it refers to this: http://relevancellc.com/blog/archives/2004/11 which seems to be some kind of jargon relating to music downloads.
