Typo

I am sorry for posting my question again. I posted it a while ago and I felt it might have been missed.

I had "today" printed as "toady" in a letter I had sent earlier. I would be grateful if somebody could please let me know if the sentences below are correct. Also, should I use double quotes for both today and toady?

'I also would like to offer my apology for an error in the last letter you had received from us. We had printed "toady" instead of "today".'

Thanks!
