Types of text? Types of texts?
Hi. Which of the following are correct or more natural?
a) Different types of text were found.
b) Different types of texts were found.
c) Many sorts of academic texts have been described.
d) Many sorts of academic text have been described.
Using the single seems better to me, but looking on the Internet 'types of texts' appears to be more common.
