Types of adverb

Adverbs describe adjectives, adverbs and verbs.

May I know am I right about the adverb for each of the following examples:

Adverb of frequency (Adverb is describing 'is'? ie. 'is' is a repetitive action?)
1) It is normally used.
2) He is sometimes fat.

Adverb of manner (Adverb is describing the extent)

1) It is used normally.
OR
It is normally used.

2) He is slightly fat.
