Type of usage.

ship sinks.

A large ship has sunk.

A large ship sunk.


Do these work as short sentences or just newspaper style only? What is the distinction? Just the fact they are used in in papers?


The verb has is understood so we can omit it right.


And these resume type descriptions too.

Has experience in the armed forces.
