Type of blend?

Besides 'blend' is there perhaps another linguistic term specifically for a blended word with two parts in which the first and second parts respectively end and begin with the same letter, but with one of those letters omitted? For example, I've come across the Twitter handle LovEvil. You see this sort of stylization occasionally, I think, in names of video games, movies, bands, etc. as well.

How about this? The Twitter handle LovEvil is a combination of the words 'love' and 'evil'.
