Type

0 Hello,02br
00could "type" mean "record"? I've come across a sentence where "type" didn't mean "to write using a typewriter" but "to record" (of a film). Is it another meaning of this verb (my dictionary doesn't confirm it), or is it a mistake in my book? 02br

00 I don't know, it could be a term used only in some fields (for example movie industry). Most dictionaries don't list many technical terms, but you could take a look at www.onelook.com anyway. The problem is that that word could mean everything without a context. You could also try posting the whole sentence that you don't understand here, maybe someone will

0No, it is "typed". I've just checked it in my text book. So, I assume that "tape" is the synonym of "record", and clearly "type" is a typo in my sentence 05000 .010id1
